Sushi Samba Dubai

As a Senior Lighting Designer at ICRAVE, I had the privilege of crafting the lighting design for Sushi Samba Restaurant and Lounge in Dubai, perched on the top floor of the Palm Tower. This remarkable venue boasts a stunning 360-degree view of the city, presenting a unique challenge with its double ceiling height and tilted glass. Our objective was to create layers of indirect ambient lighting that would evoke a warm volumetric glow, alongside direct lighting to accentuate tables and tasks while ensuring unobstructed views. The collaboration between lighting designers and interior designers led to significant design elements, including a matte black ceiling, arched bamboo ceiling to wall structures, integrated lighting, and glare control accessories.
